Scope and Contents

From the Series: This series on the College (House) Journals that were created by the Sisters of SHCJ. The Sister's hand-written notes cover the early days of "Holy Child College" later to be renamed as Rosemont College of the Holy Child and eventually just Rosemont College. The journals start with the recollections of Mother Marie Joseph and Mother Mary Dolores for founding of the College in 1921. The daily accounting started on August 1, 1921 and proceeded on a regular basis until 1969. Newspaper clippings, programs and other paper ephemera is included in the journals. These items relate to the school and/or events in the area during the time.

A 3-ring binder of facsimiles. Also containing compiled lists of highlights and "firsts" for Book 1 and 2. A CD disc is included which contains the Book 1 and 2 page images.
